The Cooley Gang is a 5-piece band with Chris Bern on bass, Greg Shorty Short Jr. on percussion, and Pat Sutton on the Drum kit, that brings a musical experience that gets your feet moving, songs of true-life encounters, local history, and tall tales, lyrical harmonies, ballads, dynamic improvisation, & polyrhythms.
Born in Appalachia
The Cooley Gang was founded by an Appalachian multi-instrumental Singer-Songwriter cousin duo with roots in WV and PA. Since 2000, Jason Jaros and Ryan Cooley Gaujot produce sounds that span many classic genres including: bluegrass, old time, rock & roll, gypsy jazz, folk, jam band, and cowboy songs.

They are originally known for their unique style of acoustic and electric duets and vocal harmonies and storied lyrics.
